What is Mindset?

"The mind is a powerful thing. It can create or destroy your reality."

WHAT IS MINDSET?

It is a set of beliefs which encompasses the attitudes and perceptions that shape how we interpret and respond to the world around us. It shapes our reality.

 

GROWTH MINDSET & FIXED MINDSET

There are two forms of mindsets:

--- Growth Mindset - In this thought process, you believe in    yourself that you can develop your abilities over time through efforts and dedication.

--- Fixed Mindset - In this thought process, you tend to believe that your abilities and talents cannot be changed or elevated. It can prove to be a major set back in your path to success.

 

Embracing a growth mindset is an essential for growing in any aspect of your life. It gives you the hunger to achieve more, desire to work harder, face challenges.

  • I can do it or I can't.

  • It will take a little more hardwork and time.

  • I don't know.

 

HOW CAN YOU CREATE A GROWTH MINDSET?

1. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR THOUGHTS.

2. FOCUS MORE ON THE PROCESS THAN THE GOAL.

4. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

You are unique. There is something different about you that will set you apart from everyone else. You just have to believe in yourself and be yourself. When you are at ease with yourself, you feel relaxed and confident, and it also motivates you to take on challenges, learn more, and grow more.

5. THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.

Whenever you get the feeling that you have done it, remember that you can be better at it, even if by 1%. Sometimes, people misinterpret this and get exhausted. They start to believe that they cannot reach their potential, but this thought process is wrong. Every time you hit a milestone, you should celebrate it, but continuous learning is the ultimate path to success.

 

To cap it all off, whether it's your personal or professional life, developing a growth mindset is key. It doesn't happen overnight.

It takes consistent effort and positive thinking. Replacing your choice of words from negative to positive is very essential.
